This is a list of some of the websites, readings, people and projects I refer to throughout my blog or otherwise find interesting and inspiring. I will update and revise it as I go along...
If you have any suggestions as to what I could add, please leave these in the comments box at the bottom of the page. I am grateful for any suggestions!

Embercombe

Organisations / Projects

Capital Growth - A food growing initiative in London: "Capital Growth offers practical help, grants, training and support to groups wanting to establish community food growing projects as well as advice to landowners."

Cultivate London - Urban agriculture and youth training in London; converts disused land across London into small farms and produces fresh herbs, salad leaves and vegetables.

Embercombe - "Touching hearts, stimulating minds and inspiring committed action for a truly sustainable world". A great social enterprise; open-minded, warm-hearted and spiritually invaluable. It has fantastic programmes that allow participants to explore their hidden passions and talents, and to reconnect with nature. I have participated in "The Journey" and it has opened up a forgotten as well as a new world within me.
Mentioned/referred to in blogposts: Late summer impressions - from the heart and from a city

Transition Network - (aka "transition movement") Supports communities that wish to build a more sustainable and self-reliant lifestyle and  future, with emphasis on community values, local products, energy, waste management etc. Totnes is one of the most well-known "transition towns" in the UK.
